Benjamin Van Bunderen Robberechts, Founder & Campaign Lead of Climate Justice for Rosa, has been invited to participate in a debate of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), taking place in the hemicycle of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.

The debate, “Europe, the fastest-warming continent: accelerating climate action with young people,” will bring together parliamentarians and invited speakers to discuss Europe’s climate response and the role of young people in shaping it.

Benjamin will participate alongside Diana-Anda Buzoianu, Romania’s Minister of the Environment, Water and Forests; Kamal Kishore, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction; and Emilie Tamo Kamguia, Member of the Council of Europe Advisory Council on Youth.

He will bring CJfR’s perspective on climate justice, the experiences of young people already affected by climate impacts, and the need for younger generations to have a real say in the decisions that will shape their lives.

The same sitting will also include an address by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
