If the climate crisis has changed your life, there is a place for you here.
Have you lost someone you love, been displaced, lost your home or seen your community changed by a flood, wildfire, heatwave, storm, drought or another climate disaster?
Climate Justice for Rosa was founded by young people whose lives were changed by the climate crisis. We are building a community where young people can connect with others who understand, support one another and, if they choose, become part of our advocacy.
You do not need to call yourself an activist or share your story publicly. You decide whether, when and how you want to be involved.

Help us turn remembrance into action.
Climate Justice for Rosa is built by young people, volunteers, survivors, partner organisations and supporters who believe that the human consequences of the climate crisis can no longer be ignored.
You can volunteer your skills, collaborate with us, attend our events, amplify our campaigns or financially support our work.
Every contribution helps us bring affected young people into decision-making spaces and strengthen the demand for climate justice.

Help sustain independent, youth-led work.
Climate Justice for Rosa currently receives no structural funding. Donations give us the independence and basic capacity to continue building work that has grown far beyond its beginnings.
Your contribution helps make survivor and youth participation possible, organise public commemorations, develop the permanent memorial in Brussels, bring lived experience into political processes, and build the Global Climate Survivor Network.
- Participation Travel, access and practical support for survivors and young people taking part in advocacy.
- Remembrance Public commemorations, the Brussels memorial and work to ensure climate victims remain visible.
- Advocacy Research, meetings, communications and participation in European and international decision-making.
- A stronger organisation The basic coordination, safeguarding and administration needed to sustain responsible youth-led work.
Bring your time and skills.
CJFR is a small organisation led by young people and supported by volunteers. We are not always able to offer a fixed role, but we are glad to hear from people who understand our work and can make a concrete contribution.
We particularly welcome support with:
- Communications and social media
- Fundraising and grant research
- Events and practical production
- Photography and video
- Dutch, French and English translation
- Research and policy support
Tell us a little about yourself, what you would like to contribute and how much time you realistically have. We would rather find a useful, manageable way to work together than promise a role that we cannot properly support.
Build something with us.
Lasting change is built through relationships. We work with survivor-led groups, NGOs, schools, artists, researchers, public institutions and other partners who share our commitment to climate justice.
We are open to thoughtful collaboration around public remembrance, survivor-led advocacy, children’s rights, the Global Climate Survivor Network, theatre, education and public events.
We are careful about partnerships. Any collaboration must respect the independence of our youth-led organisation, the dignity and safety of survivors, and our refusal to provide a platform for greenwashing.
