Let's Talk Climate

Youth Climate Event in the Senate! πŸ‡§πŸ‡ͺ

Do you want to meet the members of the Belgian delegation to COP30 and tell them directly what you think they should be fighting for? ✊🌍
Or maybe you have your own questions:

  • Why does the whole UNFCCC process take so long?

  • Are there no alternatives?

  • What can we, as young people, actually do?

  • Are you the only one who still cares about the climate? (Spoiler: no!)

⚫ For young people aged 16 to 30
🟑 Join Let’s Talk Climate, organized by the Flemish Youth Council, Forum des jeunes & Rat der deutschsprachigen Jugend
πŸ”΄ At the Senate – your train ticket will be reimbursed, and you can get an official note for school if needed

Benjamin Van Bunderen Robberechts has been invited as an β€œexpert” to answer your questions about his experiences representing Climate Justice for Rosa at past climate conferences and his preparations for COP30. But honestly, he’s mainly coming to talk with you, to hear your opinions, and to convince you that we also need your voice!

And don’t worry – there will also be real experts present!
Kobe Hautekiet (Unicef), Kiki Berkers (11.11.11), Els Vrindts (FRDO), Geert Fremout, Peter Wittoeck, JP Van Ypersele, Chantal Roggeman, Nicolas Borgmann, Rebecca Thissen.

On top of that, politicians who help shape climate policy will also be there. This is a unique chance to ask them your questions and tell them directly what matters to you!
