Climate March

  • Gare du Nord, Bruxelles (map)

Join our kliek at the march in Brussels on October 5th!
We’ll be there with banners, red clothes, ribbons, and a message that cannot be ignored.
Let us know if you’ll be marching with us: events@climatejusticeforrosa.org we will let you know where we will meet and answer any questions.

For Rosa, who drowned at 15 along with 220 others in the deadly floods of 2021.
For Roger, who couldn’t leave his home in time.
For Janine, who died from the heat.
For Kato, from Tuvalu, whose island is slowly disappearing.
For all those who lost their homes, their land, their future.
The climate crisis isn’t about numbers.
It’s about lives.
About everything we love.
And everything we stand to lose.
For glaciers and coral reefs,
for bees, forests, birds, and fish.
For the dreams we cannot give up on.
We take to the streets for those we’ve already lost—
and for all that can still be saved.
For a livable world. For young people. For those yet to come.

Join our march of love and resistance.
Everyone is welcome, from toddlers to grandparents, from newcomers to policymakers.
Whether you come alone or with your class, your family, or your organization: you belong.
We want to be a powerful gathering of people, full of stories, concerns, and dreams.
Because this concerns all of us.
Speak up for those who no longer can.
Silence protects the climate criminals.
Remembrance, resistance, and international solidarity protect the living.

At Climate Justice for Rosa, we wear red at marches, for Rosa, and for love and resistance. Feel free to join us!
But whatever color you wear: you are welcome in our kliek.

During the march, we will hand out ribbons.
You’ll be invited to write a name, a place, an animal, or a message that must not be lost.
We will tie them all together into one long chain of remembrance and resistance.
We will also ask all other participants and klieks to take part.
Together, we will carry our voices, grief, and hope visibly with us.
